Sparkling Apps is a young enterprise that has jumped on the possibilities in the current market and technologies. The mobile technology and social media offer unique opportunities. Sparkling Apps was founded to develop applications that cater to these opportunities. The founders, Roeland and Martijn van der Spek, have an exceptional technical background and both over 20 years of experience in software development.

Roeland van der Spek is an experienced software engineer and architect who likes to take complex challenges head on. He is hard working, creative and resourceful and seeks the same in the people that works with him. He is a director of Mercator Geosystems B.V. an IT firm based in The Netherlands, as well as Sparkling Apps B.V. in The Netherlands and Sparkling Apps in India.

Martijn van der Spek used his strong basis, obtaining a Masters in Computer Science from Delft University, the top Technical University in The Netherlands, to enable him with the skills that he used to build up software development teams across the globe. Managing Sparkling Apps has been an incredible experience for him and he is looking forward to take this venture to new heights.
