iPhone airport series
A generic application for tracking flights to and from any given airport. Users can search for the flight they want to track, and the system will provide them "push messages" whenever
the state of their selected flight changes. Flight information is extracted from the targeted airport website. Due to the generic nature of this track tool it is easy to add new airports.
Currently Schiphol (Amserdam), London airports, Sydney, Dubai, and Hong Kong can be found on the App Store.
(Note:The Schiphol airport application is currently ranked #3 in the travel section on the Dutch App store)
Key technologies: Apple Push Message service, Xcode, Mule 2.2, Java 5, Regular expressions, JSON.

Development of NOTAMs
NOTAM stands for "Notice to airmen". Every pilot is required to read the notams that are applicable to his intended flight. As part of the Pre-Flight application I have developed a module that retrieves these notams and where possible present them on a map along with the intended route. I have converted this module into a separate application, which has proven extremely popular with pilots world-wide, most notably in the UK (especially since the recent ash-cloud events). I was responsible for the design, implementation and release of
this application on the App Store.
Key technologies: Objective C, Cocoa touch, Xcode, iPhone mapping, Core Data, HTML screen scraping, Regular expressions.

and release of this application on the App Store.
Key technologies: Objective C, Cocoa Touch, Xcode, iPhone mapping, Core Data, SQLlite, Shark, XML, SOAP.
